We serve adults with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in all levels of care to help ensure a continuity of care for all our patients. These currently include: inpatient hospital services, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, home health services, independent and assisted living facilities and skilled nursing facilities. We perform Modified Barium swallow studies and are Vital Stim Swallowing Therapy Certified: (http://www.vitalstim.com/). The VitalStim Therapy System is a safe and effective treatment for patients suffering with difficulty swallowing or dysphagia. It is a non-invasive, external electrical stimulation therapy that has been found to help patients achieve sustained improvement and long term results.
We serve children from birth to 21 years in a variety of settings, including outpatient pediatric clinic, preschool, schools, and Infant and Toddler Services. Our pediatric clinic includes a sensory gym, fully equipped with a ball-pit, trampoline and swing to meet the needs of your child. We are well prepared to perform pediatric swallow studies; our adjustable radiation levels reduce radiation exposure for children. Infant swallowing treatment is available in the hospital nursery and upon discharge as needed.
